Do you ever get that feeling that you're watching your life finally fall into place.
When no matter what adversities come you way, you can watch them fix themselves with grace... merely improving the life you were already living?
I do.
I have and am feeling it right now.
With some Pink Floyd playing in the background, it's very easy to reflect on your life, the things you want, or expected, to those things that caught you off guard, or taught you a valuble lesson. Friends come into your life for either a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have
expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you
with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you
need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part, or at an
inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the
relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes
they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need
has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up
has been answered. And now it is time to move on.
Then people come into your life for a SEASON, b ecause your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
So pondering that concept, I was thinking where my friends loyalties lie. The thing that brought me the most shock and intregue was the fine line between a season and lifetime, and how quickly that can flip around both ways. But that's besides the point. It's defining each friendship you have an knowing where they belong, so you can treat them and care about them as such.
Sometimes the outcome can be surprising. Refreshing or rewarding.
As much as I have reason to worry about the backlash from everything going so well... I'm not phased by it. Things are going well and it is about time.
As I said in my last post... besides doing obvious things in my life... I could nearly die happy. I know where I stand on things, where I stand with individuals, what matters to me, what's important to me and where my heart and loyalties belong.
And it finally feels like the weight is lifted off my shoulders.
Horray.
I could almost die happy.
I don't know how sincere it was... but anything is better then nothing.
Honostly?
I'll fall asleep with a smile on my face.
Thank you.
Cuz I missed you.
And I get a new friend along the way.
Love Always,
Jamie

So nothing...
Absolutely nothing has happened in the last little while.
Welcome to the winter slump...
And there isn't even any snow on the ground.
Love Always,

"You can't let fear keep you
from caring about someone...
Because caring about someone
is wonderful.
A person you can think about,
and they think about you...
And you both know you're
thinking about each other."
For once, i'm speechless.
But in the worst way possible.
I've never cried or felt so low in my life...
